I fell in papad churi when I had it in a Dhaba nearby. Its basically double fried papad. They’re deep-fried first and then tempered with chat masala and chilli powder. ITs very simple to make. They taste great as it is, or with parathas and pulaos.
Lijjat papad- 2, broken into pieces.
Chat masala- 1.5 Teaspoons
Chilli powder- 1 Teaspoon
Deep fry the papad pieces and set them aside
In a saucepan, Add some oil, chat masala and chilli powder. Let it fry on low for a couple of seconds. Once the masala starts changing colour, add the fried papad pieces. Mix sliced raw onions with the papad and serve with a squeeze of lemon.
